Ah, I enjoyed reading this book in college. I like Fermina Daza! I'm a Gabriel Garcia Marquez fan. I have vivid memories of his characters who are just way too strange -- a girl who eats soil and a baby carried(?) or eaten(?) by ants in 100 years. Hmmm, maybe I should read more again.
